This might surprise you, I don’t always feel ready either… so today I am going to let you peek inside my brain. I too am feeling the fear on some days, especially when I am taking my biz to the next level. But, I show up anyway – that is how growth fucking happens, you show up and do it anyway….

As I sit here with my soul silently screaming at me… 

“Bitch please, you are meant for more… 

Why are you hiding? 

What is wrong with you?

People need to hear what you have to say, 

get out there and say it”.

 

Yet I hide beneath my covers, afraid to share, afraid to care.

It is safe in here, in my bed,

There is no one to look inside my head.

I can be small,

I can stay safe,

And warm in this place.

 

But I am not made for lurking in bed,

I was not born for taking things slowly,

I was not brought here to be silenced.

 

I am here to  sparkle.

I am here to thrive.

I am here to be the lighthouse.

I am here to guide.

 

So up I get,

And again choose how to feel,

And today I lift my writer’s veil.

You get to see beneath the surface,

You get to see the real me.

I have feelings, as you can see.

 

I don’t wake up every day ready to go,

With the fire burning bright, 

Dripping with confidence.

You see darling, it a choice.

 

I get to choose today, and every day,

Over and over and over again,

to show up.

 

 Well now, that was a surprise wasn’t it?

That is what letting your purpose be bigger than you bullshit is all about.

Showing up because you have too, you are soul driven too, not because you want to.

And the truth of it is, that once you do, even if you don’t feel like it, you will soon feel like it.
